Wario is back, but is his Wii U adaptation worth it?

When I first heard of Game & Wario, I was pumped. A new WarioWare game! WarioWare: Smooth Moves was one of the most exciting and downright hilarious experiences on the Wii, and a perfect use of the WiiMote.

The first thing you must know about Game & Wario is that it is technically NOT a WarioWare game, nor is it a WarioLand game. It's just a Wario Game. While there are minimal microgames preset, just like in the WarioWare games, the microgames that WarioWare is know for is no longer a major focus. Inside Game & Wario you'll find 12 single player minigames, but only 3 are great. Three are meh, and the other six are down right mediocre.

But with friends, Game & Wario really shines. It's got 4 great multiplayer minigames, and all of them are a joy to play. Me and my friends had a blast, but when one of your best games is a blatant 'Pictionary' rip off, you know that it's not all that.

To be fair, Game & Wario is loads of fun, it's just a huge letdown as well. With some solid online interactions packed in, Game & Wario will keep you and your friends satisfied, just don't buy it for the single player mode alone.
