This is a truly awesome game I remember from my childhood. I have Final Fight One on the GBA and it's pretty much the same idea. And yea it's the same format as Golden Axe too.

Man streets of rage was golden axe on crack, this game goes so hard. It's funny how games in this era never gave you a thick story, but you always seemed to know why you were where you were, and why you fought the bosses you fought. I miss the good old days of gaming, when they just made fun games. Not the prettiest but they definitely were fun.

When I think of the early nineties, I think of long summers of Streets of Rage! This game is a pure fighting classic. One of my absolute favorites.
